Estate planning made easy.

Thank you for choosing Conlan Cummings Lawyers to provide guidance and advice on your estate planning.

We understand the importance of holistic estate planning that considers your specific circumstances and needs. We have a longstanding relationship with Abound Financial & Lifestyle Planning, and we are happy to offer their clients discounted fees on their estate planning.

Below you will find some FAQ sheets and an estate planning client questionnaire. To start the process, we recommend you read the FAQ sheets before completing the questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed to guide you through essential estate planning considerations such as:

  • your family’s dynamics;

  • the type of assets you hold;

  • whether assets are held by trusts;

  • who can assist with decision making if you lose capacity;

  • who should receive your assets;

  • tax-effective gifting; and

  • asset protection.

If you would prefer not to complete the questionnaire or have difficulty completing it, that’s fine. Please contact us through the enquiry field at the bottom of this page and we’ll arrange for you to meet with an estate planning lawyer.

Once we've received your completed questionnaire or met in person, we can usually provide draft documents for your review soon afterwards. If we need to discuss any aspect of your estate planning before providing the draft documents, we’ll let you know.

  • FAQs: Enduring Powers of Attorney

  • FAQs: Appointment of Medical Treatment Decision Maker

  • Benefits of Testamentary Trust Wills

  • Conlan Cummings Lawyers costs disclosure (Abound client)

When completing the questionnaire, please answer all the relevant sections of the form.

Your answers can be typed into the form and saved, and once complete, emailed to us at estateplanning@conlancummings.com.au.
